Brownies and Peanut Butter
Peanut butter’s flavor combines well with other flavors, such as oatmeal, cheese, cured meats, savoury sauces, and various types of breads and crackers. The creamy or crunchy, fatty, salty taste pairs very well with complementary soft and sweet ingredients like fruit preserves, bananas, apples, and honey. The taste can also be enhanced by similarly salty things like bacon, especially if the peanut butter has added sweetness.
A brownie is a square, baked, chocolate dessert. Brownies come in a variety of forms and may be either fudge or cake, depending on their density. They may include nuts, frosting, cream cheese, chocolate chips, or other ingredients. A variation made with vanilla rather than chocolate in the batter is called a blonde brownie or Blondie.

I try to fill my babes Easter baskets with cool stuff like new bathing suits, bubbles, spring outdoor games other than just candy + peanut butter eggs!
That’s where the idea for this dessert came in. IT’S LIKE A HEALTHIER PEANUT BUTTER CUP BROWNIE. They are soft, moist and so delicious!

PEANUT BUTTER Cup Brownie
- 1 cup organic creamy salted peanut butter
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 cup organic maple syrup
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- Heat oven 350°F
- Line 8 x 8 square baking pan with parchment paper + grease lightly with coconut oil
- In large bowl mix together 1 cup organic creamy salted peanut butter, 1 Egg, 1/2 cup organic maple syrup, 2 tsp vanilla extract, 1/2 cup almond flour.
- Mix in 1/4 cup unsweetened cacao powder lightly not thoroughly, creating a swirl. Spoon batter into pan and spread evenly. Bake for about 20-25 min. Cool before slicing.
- Extras: Melted choc chips + drizzled on top
