Cooking up a tasty batch of honey mustard chicken wings can be done in a variety of ways, from frying to oven cooking the choice of heat source really is for you to decide. If frying chicken wings a good tip to remember:
- If you keep the chicken skin, it will give your wings a crispy, buttery outside.
- Removing the skin will allow the meat to soak up more of your marinade.
Baking the Chicken wings in the oven is incredibly simple. Firstly Preheat the oven to 204°C/400°F. Set a wire rack inside each of 2 large baking sheets. Place all ingredients in a large bowl; toss to coat. Divide wings between prepared racks and spread out in a single layer. Bake wings until cooked through and skin is crispy, 45–50 minutes.

Talking Honey Mustard Wings
For honey mustard sauce, it’s 1:1:1 — equal parts honey, Dijon, and mayo. For basic honey mustard, it’s just 1:1 — equal parts honey and Dijon, Seasoned with salt and pepper of course.
The resulting sweet sauce retains some of its mustard complexity, although much of its spicy edge is neutralised. That makes it well suited as a dipping sauce or a dreamy coating for chicken wings.
